We are seeking a Policy Senior Analyst to join our team at Scott AFB.

Supports large projects related to the strategy and governance of military transportation systems. Conducts analyses in respective areas of business expertise. Assembles, prepares, and analyzes data for studies, statistical models, evaluations, system requirements, and other needs. Uses technical discretion within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for determining approaches or obtaining solutions.

Assembles, prepares, and analyzes data; presents briefings to client on analyzed data. Provides technical advice, operating assistance, and counsel in respective business area of expertise.

Prepares and delivers presentations to colleagues, subordinates, and government representatives of technical reports/briefings based on the expert interpretation of analyzed data.BA or equivalent + 10-12 yrs related experience, or MA + 10 years related experience Possess Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Provide expert assistance in developing USTRANSCOM inputs for national strategic level processes and documents such as the Unified Command Plan, Guidance for the Employment of Force, Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan, Defense Planning Guidance, Quadrennial Defense Review, Posture Statement, Chairman as Risk Assessment, and Comprehensive Joint Assessment.

Has experience in reviewing issuances and assist in authoring regulations and policy documents; assess for gaps and inconsistencies; and provide comments/recommendations. Individual provides subject matter expertise in organization strategy processes to assist in developing and updating the USTRANSCOM Command Strategy, Commander's Guidance, and the Joint Deployment Process Owner (JDPO)/DPO Joint Vision Statement. Â Experience in facilitating sessions with multiple Combatant Command organizations, Defense Agencies, Services, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and the Joint Staff. These sessions will include, as required, senior officers or action officers, and other DPO stakeholders as needed to support the USTRANSCOM Commander's Guidance and Command Strategy in development and execution and to translate guidance and plans into tactical actions and initiatives.
