Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day administration for all global SAN and NAS environments at Reyes Holdings, including:

  • Participating in problem solving and troubleshooting for the assigned task(s), functional area(s) or project(s)

  • Supporting the design, operation, work flow and issue resolution for the storage infrastructure

  • Perform maintenance for storage infrastructure

  • Make recommendation for implementing systems and security industry best practices

  • Proactively implement procedures to prevent and reduce severity of outages

  • Responsible for tracking existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth

  • Overseeing the design, installation, configuration and de-provision of storage solutions

  • Developing and maintaining storage documentation, procedures, SOPs, and reporting

  • Participating in functional test planning and testing for the assigned functional area(s) or project(s)

  • Providing weekly status reports on individual projects and tasks

  • Willing to be on-call for emergency off-hours support and be flexible in availability as needed.

  • Manage storage infrastructure vendors.

  • Maintain and/or define monthly metrics for score card reporting.

  • Responsible to provide Disaster Recovery solutions as it relates to SAN and NAS storage by developing and maintaining a library of procedures for disaster recovery documentation.

  • Maintain a library of standards and procedures for disaster recovery documentation.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Industry Certifications for EMC, VMware and/or Cisco

  • Industry Certifications for Storage platforms – EMC VMAX & VNX

  • Industry Certifications for Storage platforms - IBM and HP

  • Storage software including Unisphere, Prosphere, IBM TPC

  • Virtualized Technologies

Position Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training and work experience

  • 5+ years’ experience managing and supporting Enterprise SAN, TAN in VMware/ Windows and OpenSystems environments

  • 5+ years’ experience in storage, systems and infrastructure engineering

  • 5+ years’ experience in a combination of IBM / EMC storage and Brocade / Cisco SAN / NetApp environments, specifically:

  • EMC Clarion, VNX, VMAX and XtremIO Storage solutions

  • EMC SRM and VIPR

  • EMC Recover Point Storage software

  • EMC Isilon

  • Cisco MDS SAN platforms or Brocade DCX, and integrated chassis SAN switches

  • Fiber channel and iSCSI storage solutions

  • Site Recovery Manager, Recoverpoint

  • Proven ability to communicate professionally in a corporate environment and work in cross-functional collaborative teams

  • Ability to estimate project effort/costs and deliver tasks on time within a project management framework

  • Strong technical problem solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
