In order to ensure that this policy is carried out, equal opportunity is afforded to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, veteran's status, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, medical condition, age, ancestry, or national origin.Broad Function and Scope of This Position: Under the supervision of the Facility Manager and General Warehouse Manager, this position will be responsible for building, assembling, installation, maintenance, proper orientation, repair and overhaul of all warehouse, labeling, and building machinery, equipment, and improvements.Duties will include:1.Be familiar with pneumatics, hydraulics, circuitry, electronic sensors. 2.Perform mechanical work including gears and bearings, repair and construction of material handling equipment. 3.Order maintenance and repair supplies and materials used in mechanical and electrical work in the warehouse. 4.Consult with supervisor on needed repairs, changes, and new equipment. 5.Keep records and inventories. 6.Plan and layout future work schedules. 7.Repair and install hydraulic system-pumps and flow systems. 8.Overhaul and repair machine parts. 9.Do maintenance wiring, installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting, testing, and power circuits. 10.Must be able to read and understand blue prints and circuit diagrams, and ladder logic diagrams. 11.Inspect motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transforms, fuse panels, lighting, heating and power circuits. Make preventative and running repairs and corrections. Overhaul motor gear heads, varidrive units and various motor brakes. 12.Do installation, connection, adjustment and calibration of electrical gauges and recording instruments. 13.Be familiar with various makes of P.C. controllers, Allen Bradley, TI, GE. Demonstrate ability to trouble shoot equipment controlled by P.C. controllers, various mechanical equipment sequencers. 14.Be proficient in the use of test equipment such as multimeters, clamp on ampmeter, ohmmeter. 15.Have a sound background in solid state circuitry and devices, high voltage D.C. rectifier and control circuits.16.Be familiar with the National Electric Code. 17.Have experience working with 480V three phase. 18.Performs duties as assigned throughout the operation.Requirements:1.Candidates must have 5-7+ years Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.2.Must be able to pass a Multi-Craft Aptitude Test (mechanical and electrical).3.Must be a current certified OSHA forklift operator. 4.Must be able to work any shift and weekends/OT as required.
