This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Illinois State University is approaching Year 4 of a five-year grant through the Department of Health and Human Services to implement the Champaign Area Relationship Education for Youth (CARE4U) to at-risk youth (ages 15-24) in Champaign and McLean Counties. Program sessions cover topics such as healthy relationships, communication skills, conflict resolution strategies, job readiness, and financial literacy. The program also includes a component for subsidized summer youth employment or community college tuition reimbursement. The program includes a robust Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) plan that collects data on communication, conflict resolution, relationship attitudes and beliefs, job self-efficacy, financial behaviors, personal values, individual difference variables, mental health, and resilience. The Sponsored Project Administrator (Postdoctoral Fellow) in conjunction with the Implementation Improvement Co-Coordinators will be responsible for facilitating data collection at program sites, scheduling student support staff, providing onsite oversight of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) data collection, organizing performance measurement data, preparing weekly progress reports for the implementation team, preparing findings for dissemination/publication, and assisting with curriculum delivery as needed. The position also provides training in building an independent research program, grant writing, translating research to practice, and other career development activities. This is a non-continuous grant-funded position. Initial appointment is through May 15, 2019. Appointment renewal will be based upon available grant funding and performance.
