- Position Overview *
We are currently seeking a Director of Medical Group Operations supporting Primary Care. The position is located in Skokie, IL and requires travel to other NorthShore Medical Group practices. This is a full-time position and is benefits eligible. Hours will be scheduled Monday through Friday.
- Responsibilities *
In this role, you will:
Lead and develop a management team and support physician leadership to achieve overall growth targets for area of responsibilities.
Assume a leadership role in project management and recommend innovative solutions for identified opportunities.
Demonstrate an overall understanding of the quality strategy for the Medical Group and NorthShore and ensure workflows are implemented to support Medical Group initiatives.
Monitor loyalty results for area of responsibility and implement Medical Group tactics to improve loyalty scores and promote a positive patient experience.
Ensure People Management Cycle for physician and practice management is consistently implemented.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelors Degree required; Masters in Health Administration or MBA preferred (or equivalent work experience)
Four years of work experience for a Bachelors prepared applicant; preferably in a healthcare setting.
Two years of management experience for a Bachelors prepared applicant
One year work experience for a Masters prepared applicant
Physician management, financial management and operations management experience
Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems
Demonstrated ability to build alliances, drive results and manage change
