Fresenius Medical Center Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition in Downers Grove, Illinois
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Supports FMCNA’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.
The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, will be a key member of the FMCNA Talent Acquisition Team. This role will work with Business Operations, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Leaders to translate business strategies into human capital needs by strengthening FMCNA’s ability to attract, assess, select and integrate top clinical talent. Deliver innovative, diverse healthcare recruiting strategies that consider current and future talent demands while implementing a plan to support business objectives. The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition will play a key role in the overall Talent Acquisition strategy by taking on specific projects which may include process development, training and implementation.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Responsible for all aspects of team leadership including managing and developing a team of talent acquisition professionals to support the high volume recruitment needs to include setting strategy, performance management, hiring, coaching, team building, workload balancing, development planning, succession planning and goal setting.
Develop and effectively implement FMCNA’s talent acquisition strategy and achieve financial, operational and employee retention goals. Design and implement best in class, inventive, and creative sourcing strategies that meet business needs and which create a pipeline of diverse, high caliber talent for the organization.
Develops the capabilities of the recruiting team in the areas of effective sourcing, interviewing, and assessment of candidates.
Directly interact with senior management and provide coaching, consultancy and ensures TA operation alignment over designated core group or multiple groups
Represent Talent Acquisition at appropriate executive and operational leadership meetings, providing updates on Talent Acquisition strategy and programs
Use data to develop and analyze key metrics to understand and improve recruiting effectiveness. Take proactive action to increase efficiencies and effect metrics in areas of cost, speed to hire, new hire retention, etc. Create and implement programs to increase candidate pipeline for critical positions.
Instill a customer focused mentality across the team to ensure delivery of an excellent candidate experience. Partner with parties across FMCNA to ensure that the positive candidate experience is carried through to new employee onboarding.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the FMCNA talent acquisition strategy and partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to identify talent gaps and enact proactive strategies to identify and attract top talent.
Maintains expert knowledge of relevant recruiting procedures and practices in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations, and Company policies and procedures, along with healthcare emerging trends, and benchmark comparisons.

Manages a staff of professional recruiters
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or relevant talent acquisition related experience
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
7 - 10 years of recruiting experience with a strong preference in both an agency and corporate setting.
3 - 5 years management experience with demonstrated success in performance management and employee development
SHRM Certification (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP) is desirable, or a plus.
Ability to integrate and interpret data from multiple sources to identify solutions and develop plans to ensure appropriate staffing.
Must have a strong customer focus and be able to effectively and quickly build relationship and establish trust, respect, competence and confidence.
Must have a “solutions-focus”, being able to sort through information and develop innovative solutions quickly.
Proven experience designing and executing new talent acquisition programs
Experience leading a talent acquisition function in a fast paced, distributed workforce
Demonstrates ability to integrate automated solutions and use technology to improve processes
