Job Description

The Customer Account Analyst provides service to assigned customer accounts and is responsible for day-to-day management of customer care functions, including inventory management through Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program. This position is responsible in managing the customer?s current and future order requirements that goes through VMI. The Customer Account Analyst is also responsible for reviewing inventory and sales history that is vital in monitoring and improving delivery and inventory indicators. This role is a part of the collaboration effort between the customer and Appleton to effectively manage customer orders, inventory, in stock percentage and inventory turns. This person will report directly to the Manager, Global Digital Business.

Job Responsibilities

? Launches, reviews, makes corrections and adjustments to orders coming in via VMI.

? Overall account management (from pre-launch to post sales activities) of assigned VMI distributors.

? Review and analyze historical data and future demand to develop a flexible inventory strategy, utilizing input from sales and the customer

? Provide world class customer service, anticipating customer information needs and responding to them within established turnaround time. Answer customer inquiries by phone and other media and perform as liason with sales, credit, manufacturing planners, buyers, shipping, IT as necessary.

? Lead day to day activities for accounts, ensuring data integrity to facilitate timely and accurate order generation and execution.

? Conduct VMI customer reviews to correct, sustain and improve delivery and inventory performance using VMI reports tools on delivery, inventory, and sales.

? Responsible in releasing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and web orders in the order corrections screen.

? Create reports and analyze EDI trends and opportunities for improvement.

? Prepares EDI Channel Partner scorecards and conduct quarterly calls to discuss performance.

? Functions as a subject matter expert (SME) for the global online store.

? Perform other duties and oversee special projects and assignments as assigned.
