Hours: Monday & Wednesday (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) Tuesday & Thursday (11:00 am - 7:00 pm) Friday (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)
CABS offer crisis evaluations to screen for possible inpatient hospitalization or outpatient treatment services for children and adolescents with Medicaid, children without insurance, and DCFS wards. CABS provides individual, family and group therapy as well as psychiatric services and case management.
Provides individual, family, and group therapy; mental health evaluation; treatment planning; case management and case consultation services to clients and their families. Assists clients in developing and accomplishing treatment goals in individual, family and group settings. Provides services in office and community settings. Works as part of a comprehensive treatment team. Provides consultation and education to community groups. Competently works with clients with coexisting disorders. Meets minimum productivity expectations and documentation standards using electronic medical records. Responsible for providing screening, assessment, and support services/crisis response to clients who are at risk of psychiatric hospitalization, who are psychiatrically hospitalized or who are being discharged from psychiatric hospitals. Provides after hours on call services to respond to youth at the site of crisis.
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in behavioral sciences or related field, three years of experience is required, or
Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field, one year of experience is required.
If a recovering person, they must have two years of demonstrated sobriety
Spanish Speaking is required.
