The Senior Systems Engineer will:
Administer the Microsoft Systems Center Product set to include, Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Systems Center Orchestrator, and Application Virtualization (APP-V), for our customer.
Manage active directory in an enterprise network.
Design, plan and implement active directory.
Modify active directory schema.
Manage active directory physical architecture and active directory logical architecture.
Design, plan and implement sites and subnets.
Monitor active directory replication and tools used.
Plan a domain controller and global catalog strategy.
Manage trust relationships.
Design, plan and implement OU's.
Monitor backup and restoration of active directory.
Design, plan and implement GPO's for enterprise environment.
Use group policy for optimization, security, etc.
Troubleshoot group policy.
Maintain group policy backup and recovery.
Manage administrative templates for group policy.
Create a strategy for configuring the user environment with group policy.
Create a strategy for configuring the computer environment with group policy.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of application configuration changes via group policy.
Write/update technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer with Microsoft Enterprise technologies (Infrastructure)
Experience with Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 R2 – deployment, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Must have worked on an NJVC contract within the last 3 months
Strong candidates will have Windows server/workstation operating system understanding in relation to government configurations
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer candidates will be given preference
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
