Job Description

Oracle Order to Cash and Procure to Pay - Subject Matter Expert OR Techno-Functional Resource

The Business Process Analyst provides business critical insight and delivers support of end-user, business and development teams through the application of functional knowledge of the E-Business Suite for Order to Cash and Procure to pay processes. The Business Process Analyst will also customize Oracle functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design. A successful individual will demonstrate the ability combine Oracle expertise with proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to support the development process and ongoing business functions.

Responsibilities

Adept at determining requirements by interviewing business users, reviewing documentation and facilitating working sessions

Perform functional tests to ensure configuration meets the Business requirements

Knowledgeable about the Oracle applications functionality, tools, templates and methods and able to setup the system to meet the desired business process and requirements

Leverage technical skills and knowledge to troubleshoot issues and define solutions

Leverage database skills and queries to analyze data and workflow/forms/reporting issues

Support all Oracle Applications patching, upgrades and maintenance activities by testing and troubleshooting functional issues

Ability to troubleshoot user issues through knowledge of Oracle workflows, forms, reports and a good understanding of the Oracle architecture

Meet with business analysts and business owners on new functionality requests and production issues and develop functional specifications based on AIM Methodology

Define and address change management processes within the user community

Promotion of To-Be/future state processes integration across functional organizations to ensure needed support

Resolution of process issues utilizing pre-defined governance processes

Ensuring that issues are escalated accordingly to the Management team

Coordination of system and process enablement activities including all change management components (organization impact, communications and training)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must Have:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or 5 years of Sales experience

One or more years of end-user experience with Oracle 11i modules, including day-to-day operations and optimization

Good functional experience in one or more of the business processes within Oracle Order to Cash and Procure to Pay

Ability to participate in the development and implementation of a process design for the enterprise

Good knowledge of PL-SQL and SQL queries in order to troubleshoot issues

Good knowledge of workflows, forms, reports and extensions for the respective modules

Ability to work directly with end users for training on business processes and resolution of end-user issues

Possess good problem solving and decision making skills

Be an excellent communicator, verbal and written, as well as demonstrating effective listening
