JOB PURPOSE: To understand purchase orders and requirements for all orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

nn


+ Deliver, stock, track, and transport parts from vendors to work site both in-house and external.

n

+ Receive inbound parts, orders and tracking items received versus ordered.

n

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

nn


+ Experience with parts warehouse work flow and purchase preferred.

n

+ Physical job requirements include being able to lift up to 70 lbs.

n

+ General knowledge of desktop computer applications and electronic purchase orders systems.

n

+ General knowledge of construction equipment and heavy truck preferred.

n

+ Professional communication skills to interact with all levels of staff and management.

n

+ Current driver?s license (non-CDL) and clean driving history.

n

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS:

nn


+ Manage receipt, receiving, and storage of parts orders from third party or internal vendors.

n

+ Identify issues related to receipt or receiving of parts.

n

+ Use desktop software based program to, adjust, track and close purchase orders.

n

+ Load, unload and store receivables in multiple locations with forklift.

n

+ Use company vehicle to drive to vendor locations to pick up or deliver parts as assigned.

n

+ Report to work ready to perform assigned tasks by using established safe work practices and by wearing any prescribed personal protective equipment.

n

+ Use the proper tools and equipment for each task and use them correctly. If knowledge or proficiency with the operation or equipment is questionable, ask before it is used.

n

+ Attend all weekly safety toolbox meetings. Be a participant and engage in discussion generated at such meetings. We hold these for everyone?s benefit and your input is valuable.

n

+ Report all unsafe behaviors and/or conditions, near misses, incidents and injuries to your supervisor immediately. Take immediate action as appropriate if you observe something that could cause injury to a fellow worker.

+ Participate in all required safety training and take part in the Green Hard Hat Program if assigned.
