Title: Supermarket Lines Team Leader - Western Avenue, Evergreen Park IL

Meijer is currently looking for a Supermarket Lines Team Leader. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for overall operations, profitability, and conditions of the entire supermarket line. The individual will also, through established processes, lead a well trained and knowledgeable leadership team toward providing our customers with the freshest brands and varieties of perishable and grocery products. The individual will develop a team that consistently meets goals for productivity and customer service as well as being sales and profit driven.

Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering on Brand Promises through team execution; i.e. "Provide an easy shopping experience for our customers"
* Modeling exceptional, fast and friendly customer service
* Hiring, training and scheduling team leaders
* Enforcing workplace safety
* Driving designated Supermarket processes in the absence of the team leader responsible to drive that process
* Mentoring of all perishables and grocery team leaders (ongoing training and career development)
* Overall responsibility for operations, profitability, processes and conditions of the entire Supermarket line
* Shared responsibility with other Lines Leaders as Store Director in Charge
* Overall responsibility for ad set compliance, including ad signs
* Overall responsibility for price change compliance
* There is a 48 hours (exempt) pay base for this position
* Other daily tasks as required
