World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for a Supply Chain Engineer to support our supply chain operations team based in Edwardsville, IL. This position will be focused on driving process and operational efficiency utilizing analytics and lean principles and methodologies for various WWT customers.
Consult with business partners and departments to understand needs, and ensure best practice are employed to meet business needs.
Assist in identifying data issues impacting the customer or the business process.
Participates in business process development, project management, and change management projects and initiatives.
Partner closely with business users to discover needs: data, reports, and analyses.
Highlight process changes and provide input on potential organizational impact and/or roles and executes people change management deliverables.
Assess impact of proposed technical solution upon the existing business processes, and recommend changes in organizational responsibilities, methods, and procedures.
Catalogue performance indicators and important target areas.
Support and enforce standards & methodologies around business process development, project management, and change management.
Use data to identify opportunities and drive supply chain continuous improvement initiatives.
Uncover and share patterns and key insights in the data within a highly customized supply chain operation.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or supply chain engineering.
4-year college degree in a related field or the equivalent years of work experience.
Ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational and project requirements.
Working understanding of supply chain concepts and processes.
Experience using lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Strong organizational skills to effectively assist with adherence to deadlines, attention to detail and strong problem solving and decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ERP (Oracle EBS) experience, a plus.
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and manage several projects.
Available to travel to support other regional facilities.
