Job Description
Gas Technology Institute (GTI) leads a variety of R&D programs directed at small-scale natural gas liquefaction and the use of LNG as a transportation fuel and in other stationary market applications. We have an outstanding opportunity for the experienced professional to perform research and to develop new technologies and solutions to advance the use of natural gas as a transportation fuel in its various forms (compressed, adsorbed, liquefied). The work will focus on fuel storage, engine development, vehicle integration, and methods for generating, conditioning, and dispensing fuel for vehicle use.
If you have the expertise we need, we are interested in you. If you can bring a thorough understanding of cryogenic liquids with a particular emphasis on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and its uses as a vehicle transportation fuel along with product development and/or technology transfer experience, there is groundbreaking work for you to do at GTI. In addition, your expertise in sizing, designing, engineering, and/or cost estimating LNG or liquid hydrogen fuel storage, transportation, and dispensing technology systems fits with our R&D emphases.
Required Experience
We require a B.S. or M.S. at least 7 years of relevant work experience or a Ph.D. with a minimum of 5 years experience.
