Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association Production Support Analyst II in Chicago, Illinois
Install, deploy and administer the Enterprise J2EE applications on IBM WebSphere application server 7.0 or higher; configure WebSphere resources and integrate with MQ and mainframe domains; work on updating and monitor the routing configuration for the real-time transactions between the Blues plans; provide support to all production applications, including end user ticket/issue troubleshooting; deploy and performance tune applications in Sun Solaris OS environment; and automate administrative tasks using Shell scripting and Jython scripting.
Requires Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information technology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five years Unix infrastructure engineering and administration experience or, alternatively, a Master's degree and three years of experience as noted above. (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section)-must possess the following:
IBM WebSphere 7.0 or higher application installation, configuration and deployment
IBM MQ series installation, configuration and roubleshooting
Sun Solaris OS environment application deployment and performance tuning
Production support, including end user ticket/issue troubleshooting
Healthcare domain, including claims administration/processing under the Blues plan
Shell scripting; and Jython scripting.
