Hyatt is seeking a Director of Network Operations to add to the operations team. This position provides leadership in the day-to-day operation of a large, multi-node WAN (500 sites) as well as in the planning, design, and implementation of major network initiatives. They will manage a team of network engineers whose focus spans a variety of platforms and vendors, including Cisco, Juniper, and Dell. Together, they develop plans for network enhancement and growth, lead troubleshooting efforts including coordinating disparate vendors/providers, monitor the health of the corporate LAN and overall WAN, and ensure the capacity demands of Hyatt's hotels are met in the most reliable and cost-effective fashion possible. Additionall, the Director of Network Operations serves as the subject matter expert for all matters pertaining to networking and connectivity.
- Analyze the network needs of the company and recommend solutions
- Ensure the 24x7 availability and reliability of network infrastructure
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and service providers
- Evaluate industry best practices and apply them as appropriate, keeping management apprised of trends and emerging technologies
- Keep abreast of current threats and countermeasures, and knowledgeable of latest advances in hardware, tools, and technologies useful to fulfilling strategic goals

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
- 10 years of network engineering experience
- 10 years of multi-site enterprise experience, including 24x7 operations and continuous availability
- 5 years leadership experience
- Experience with the following platforms: Cisco Nexus 4000/5000/7000 series; ACE 4700; ASA 55xx series
- CCIE certification, preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco switches, firewalls, and network concepts
- Advanced knowledge of routing/network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, GRE)
- Advanced knowledge of network management and monitoring
- Excellent troubleshooting skills including packet capture and analysis
- Security experience including familiarity with PCI requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a team or on an individual basis
- Ability to occassionally work off-hours as required
