Requirements: Contract to Hire SUMMARY: This position is responsible for developing procurement programs and strategies for multiple categories in the Information Technology space (including cloud, infrastructure , security, on-prem software, hardware, and consulting services), with a focus on balancing superior service to IT functional clients with maximized value for the company of items purchased.   • Active and effective mentor REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree; agriculture business, animal science, business administration, economics, or engineering preferred. Experience: 7 – 10 years of experience in related field; strong technical and operational knowledge of manufacturing processes; familiarity with business and contract law as applied to supplier relationships required; Animal science/husbandry experience will enhance position effectiveness. Exposure to global sourcing is a plus. Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; experience in spreadsheet, database and statistical analysis are necessary. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; formal presentations are required.
