Supports and manages employees who provide supplies, receiving, mail service and support for patient care and ancillary departments. Position will support Good Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital both.

Principal Duties, Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions

Providing competent and compassionate service to all customers, internal and external.

Provides assistance to all departments as needed to obtain storeroom supplies in person or telephone

Oversees and monitors daily functions by providing adequate staff each day to perform all central stores functions.

Reviews daily stock outs and adjusts reorder points as necessary

Oversees all employees to make sure all annual in-service requirements are met.

Works with director to ensure all annual goals are met.

Works with director for all employee hiring, counseling, and annual evaluations.

Provides coverage for director during vacations, etc.
