Well established Business and Systems consulting company in the western suburbs has an immediate opening for a part-time technical support position. We are seeking highly motivated, innovative professionals to work in a team environment in supporting end users with all information technology issues and problems.
Provide competent, service-oriented support to end users as primary point of contact for company Service Desk.
Provide PC, MS Windows and other client software installations.
Provide level 1 and level 2 networking and systems triage.
Work with project, network, and system teams to ensure user-friendly solutions and services are delivered.
Research problems and identify trends.
Escalate tickets to appropriate group as needed.
Plan and participate in appropriate change management and training activities.
Collaborate with organization counterparts and department team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an information technology related field preferred
1-3 years of professional IT support experience
Knowledge of computing and computer systems, hardware, software and peripheral equipment
Knowledge of computer security systems, procedures, techniques and applications
A+, MCP, or similar Certification desired
Bi-lingual a plus
