          Job Description :

          Position Summary:
          The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for strategic oversight of all Divisional customer service operations within the order management process. Position will interact on a daily basis with customers, production, logistics, and sales staff to effectively meet customer service standards and support the Division’s strategic initiatives.

          Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
          Position will directly report to Division Supply Chain Manager or the Customer Service Manager and supervises related customer service personnel.

          Essential Functions:
          Supervise the daily customer service department workflow to insure customers are serviced in a satisfying manner and company goals are met.

          Intervene in and directly manage challenging customer situations through research, direct communication and any other means necessary to resolve outstanding issues.

          Job Requirements :

          Qualifications:-Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with the majority of those years in a supervisorial role within customer service.

          -4 year college degree in business or related discipline.

          -Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and processes.

          -Must possess advanced computer skills and understand electronic processing.

          -Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.

          Other Skills :Will report to the Division Marketing Manager
          Plan, layout and assign work, instruct, direct and assist employees in the department.

          Establish priorities and develop methods and procedures to report and interpret results.

          Direct the entry of product specifications into the computer and the preparation of quotations, selection and recommendation of alternative methods or substitute parts and products to meet customer requirements.

          Confer with various departments to remain informed of inventory levels and manufacturing conditions and inform appropriate personnel of recurring customer complaints.

          Review department training requirements, and develop general format to improve desired department capabilities.

          Assist in the preparation of and adherence to department budget.

          Train personnel, explain and enforce company rules and regulations, respond to employee complaints, appraise performance and recommend changes in employee status.

          Administer and encourage a performance based culture of management philosophy and techniques.
