          Continental Automotive Systems Financial Analyst II (Job ID: 218577) in Bakerville Illinois United States

          Generate manual journal entries as directed by the Manager, General Ledger & Reporting and the Passenger/Commercial Tire Controllers; perform reconciliations of General Ledger Accounts; perform analysis of month end results; accounts payable

          The principal accountabilities for the Financial Analyst II are:
          1. Calculate and record journal entries as directed
          2. Analyze manufacturing variations (including but not limited to cost center variations, material price variations, freight, handling, PE variation from budget/forecast)
          3. Perform forecasting and budgeting duties as assigned and directed by the Controllers
          4. Generate daily, weekly, monthly accounting reports (eg daily key measures, cost center, overtime reporting, etc.)
          5. Provide assistance to the GTY Controller (record data into financial spreadsheet, presentations)
          6. Perform general ledger account reconciliations and clearing
          7. Perform all accounts payable functions as required
          8. Perform physical inventory counts and audits as directed by the Financial Managers and Controllers
          9. Perform other duties as directed by the Financial Managers and Controllers

          Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy: CPA certification preferred but not necessary

          1-3 years work experience in accounting/controlling
